The role

• Functional Safety Engineering for e-mobility (like Electric Drive Unit (EDU) for core and customer,

• VCU, transmissions etc.) application projects

• Managing functional safety activities at software level

• Work according to ISO 26262

• Create and approve safety relevant work products

• Contributing to the process development

• Supporting safety assessments and audits

• Prepare safety related work products

• Analysis and evaluation of safety critical systems and functions based on state-of-the-art methods

Qualifications

• Bsc/Msc in the field of mechatronics, electrical engineering, computer engineering or a comparable educational background

• Preferably of 3 years’ demonstrable experience in an automotive or similar engineering environment, with a focus on delivery functionally safe software.

• Excellent knowledge in the technical implementation of functional safety (according to ISO26262 or IEC61508)

• Good English skills are required, spoken and written

• Working understanding of automotive HV standards; design methodologies and working practices.

• Proven experience of working on automotive e-powertrain systems (such as motors; inverters;

batteries/energy storage; power electronics) and understanding their interfaces and integration into

the vehicle.

• Confident at reading vehicle wiring diagrams, and understanding component electrical interfaces,

e.g. Device Transmittals; External World Diagrams.

• German and/or Hungarian languages knowledge.
