Boeing is seeking a Digital Portfolio Sales Director who will be responsible for planning, developing and running competitive sales campaigns across our airline customers in Turkiye.
This position will be instrumental with proactively executing sales and delivery activities to customers within the assigned region.
Responsibilities
- Drive sales and campaign activities to successful completion by integrating multiple aspects of the customers' needs in a consultative manner
- Craft campaign specific strategies, procure resources and secure management dedication to ensure successful execution
- Build metrics to monitor campaign project status and budget requirements
- Initiate, maintain and advance customer relationships and work to be accepted as a trusted business partner by the customer
- Establish, maintain and expand network to address customer needs and keep lines of communication open
- Develop customer solutions by coordinating and integrating with internal and external processes and divisions to provide a competitive advantage and to foster business growth with acceptable margins
- Identify future business opportunities and promote the value of Boeing portfolio and partnership
- Develop positive relationships within Boeing with the aim to partner, engage, pursue, and win new business with new and existing customers
- Lead preparation of proposals by developing themes and discriminators and ensure correct members and resources are included in the team
- Recommend alternative means of compliance to customer requests
- Review and contribute to the final draft materials
- Challenge recommended scope and cost to ensure compliance and competitiveness
- Lead negotiations and finalize commitments, ensuring mutual benefit to the customer and Boeing by interfacing directly with customer decision-makers and influencers
- Leverage detailed understanding of both customer and Boeing needs and resources to find areas of alignment and integration
- Obtain commitment within parameters approved by management
- Coordinate packaging of Boeing and Industry products and knowledge into complete solutions that meets customer needs
- Leverage company resources by building and leading a capture team to support customer commitments, gain a competitive advantage and foster business growth by using a comprehensive understanding (breadth and depth) of multiple Digital and Boeing products and services, process and operations and resources
- Lead the approval process by advocating the customer requirements and selling the business case to management to ensure quality deal. Balances the enterprise, business unit and customer goals to meet and drive Long Range Business Plan (LRBP)
- Travelling is expected with occasional international travel
This position is hybrid. This means that the selected candidate will be required to perform some work onsite with an expectation to be onsite 1 day per week when not visiting clients. This is at the hiring team’s discretion and could potentially change in the future.

Required Skills
- Consistent track record as a successful customer facing professional with strong experience working within the Civil Aviation Industry
- A strong understanding of Airline operations and how digital solutions can address pain-points, increase efficiencies and improve sustainability
- Prior experience collaborating with senior executive leadership
- Ability to quickly build credibility and trust with customers
- Prior experience running competitive international sales campaigns
- Commercial acumen with an understanding of how to create mutual benefits for both customer and airlines
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and SalesForce.com
- 5 years of validated experience in the civil aviation field
Desired Skills
- Prior experience across technology/SaaS/data systems advantageous

This requisition is for an international, locally hired position in Istanbul, Turkiye.
