Global Procurement Manager – Ingredients
Leading Indochina Ingredients category
- Defining and executing the ingredients strategy, contract management and supplier relationship management
- Measuring and Improving Performance
- and Achieving Annual Plans and Delivering Productivity
Accountability
- In close collaboration with the Indochina MSO, draft & implement Indochina Ingredients category strategy, using systematic 7 step strategic sourcing approach
- Participate and lead cross-functional category team, using RACI model
- Manage category on a regional level and leverage from PepsiCo’s scale in the region

Work closely with Sector & Global teams:
- To develop category annual and long-term strategic sourcing targets
- Plan and monitor category Productivity / Savings (for the current year and over SBP)
- Lead continuous improvement initiatives from procurement side for the category
- Evaluate & evolve sourcing strategy based on changing market conditions and provide inputs during strategic sourcing activities, including internal and external analysis and negotiations.
- Ensure implementation of sourcing strategy / plans, compliance monitored, and benefits tracked (in close collaboration with cross-functional stakeholders and in line with the procurement policy & practices
- Closely liaise with business Key stakeholders in Indo China Foods businesses.
- Sell category strategy to business stakeholders; one focal point to represent Ingredients category internally (peer level) and externally (suppliers)
- Ensure implementation of best-in-class sourcing tools, relevant to the category.
- Lead category negotiations and manage contracts with suppliers
- Track supply market, share evolving category trends, monitor supplier performance and share benchmarking against industry / market standards
Qualification
- Degree qualified
- Minimum 10 years+ experience in a senior Procurement Category Management position
- Proven technical procurement category knowledge of to ensure the continued adoption and use of best practice approaches
- Sound knowledge of supply market fundamentals
- Preferred CIPSA or CPIM supply chain qualification highly desirable
- Proven influencing skills to positively impact complex negotiations
- Excellent balance of analytical & negotiation skills
- Contract writing / risk analysis / liabilities and indemnities / SLA’s / and general commercial terms
- Sound understanding of SAP and P2P Governance and Controls
- Able to communicate business strategies to suppliers as well as internal stakeholders
- Effective people leader including ability to lead cross functional teams
- Track record of being able to drive cross-functional support and resources for projects to deliver results on time.
- Effective project manager who is able to articulate and escalate hurdles quickly and keep driving the projects forward.
- Strong collaboration/matrix management
- Understands and manages key business drivers
- High integrity: won’t compromise values to get results
Location will be based in Bangkok
