Job Description


IT Product/Service Consultant
“I have the ability to provide consulting services with an in-depth expertise and main focus on IT Products/Services with regards to the IT Products/Services catalogue. Thereby, I contribute to increased agility and the delivery of Products and Services. This is achieved by close collaboration with other roles (e.g., Development Lead, IT Architects etc.).”

Support SpecialistI am also primarily responsible for the day-to-day operations of IT Products/Service/Solutions. I am often local to a certain location/region, however this is not a must. I am targeted at providing support to the user of an IT Products/Service/Solutions."

  • Main Tasks & Responsibilities:
  • Provides in-depth expertise for one or more IT products and/or IT services according to the IT Products/Services catalogue
  • Collaborates and works in alignment with the Business Teams towards the customer to achieve consistency and transparency
  • Ensures matching of IT requirements with business requirements in alignment with IT Architects
  • Supports IT Product/Service development activities with focus on project preparation and early project phases to ensure that demand and supply are aligned
  • Conduct requirements/process analysis using relevant tools such as process modeling, reverse engineering, organization modeling, use cases, etc.
  • Inform Product/Service Owner and Development Lead of potential continuous improvement opportunities for IT Product/Service
  • Collaborate with global and local teams for implementations, upgrades, sustaining operations, and communication to local stakeholders for local IT services’ changes
  • Apply effective problem-solving techniques to solve range of issues/problems in process, software and hardware related in a professional, timely manner
  • Manage and support IT services: client PCs, servers, storages, network, assets, end-user training, consulting …
  • Responsible for continuous improvement of the performance, availability, and reliability of IT infrastructure through capacity management
  • Assist IT Management on financial related topics (budget planning, cost monitoring…) and vendor management
  • Participate in emergency on-call duties and work off office hour as required
  • Cross location support and backup as required
  • Additional responsibilities as assigned from the organization

Qualifications

  • Expert in relevant IT Product/Service
  • Good understanding of overall business model and impact on respective processes
  • Strong communication and negotiation skills, ability to facilitate workshops and discussions
  • Strong analytical and time management skills
  • Strong commitment to achieve customer satisfaction
  • Understanding of IT solution/product/service portfolio focusing on problem solving
  • ITIL processes
  • Good communication skills
  • Team player
